One of the things I've been doing since I first started sewing was cutting up my smallest scraps in to postage stamp squares. Then I keep a few by my sewing machine to sew. I slip one in at the end of a chain of pieces. Or do a few when ever. Here is what I did with my 1st set of blocks. I found the setting fabric at a fabric store on the clearance rack. I drew a quilting pattern in the alternate blocks. I've got a few blocks quilted. Right now I almost have a second set of blocks done. Need to find something different to do with them

I really like them in your border too!
- I wonder how it'd be if you tried to make baby nine-patches with them and used them in the center of a more traditional block... like the starting square of a log cabin, maybe?
cool, I plan to do something similar - only my setting trianles will be pieced - so it should end up the opposite of yours!
I am speechless! So amazing.
You have some beautiful quilts! Found your site from another quilter..glad I did. Thanks for sharing the pictures....great to visualize instead of looking at a list.
Keep it up!
lovely - especially the pieced border, a real scrap quilt :o)
The postage stamp quilt is stunning. I hope you are keeping this one - it is probably a great reminder of all the other projects you have made over the years :)
Very impressive list/piccies of all your WIPs. I've managed to whittle mine right down this year, but then I didn't start with as many as you!
Lovely, scrappy and effective.
This is a GREAT quilt! Just fabulous!!!!

I love postage stamp quilts but don't think I'd ever have the patience to actually make one myself. It looks great.
Love what you did with your bits and pieces...a really pretty quilt! And that sure is alot of litle pieces!!! *VBS*

well, lookie here what I found going thru your archives!!! a "Postage Stamp Quilt". Funny how I had never seen or even heard of one before this weekend.
Yours is so cool - love the crosshatch quilting in the black squares and your boarder is a neat accent too!!!
I promise I am not a stalker but a new fan of yours ;c) - just found you tonight and I feel a need to comment on all the neat things I find here. ~Bonnie
