It's been a busy summer.  I've gotten back into sewing and I feel the need to keep track of what I get done.

I did get a new sewing machine last week and here is the first project I worked on.  I had these snowmen cut out I was just lacking the desire to hand applique them.  But one of the reasons I wanted the new machine was this applique (button hole ) stitch.  I soooooooo enjoyed just sewing around these with this cute little stitch.  My mind is working now.   What other applique projects have I always wanted to make but didn't because of the time it takes to hand applique.

I sewed up the blocks pin basted the quilt using up some batting scrapes.  Think I will do some quick hand quilting around the blocks and hopefully have them done before Christmas.  yeah yeah yeah can't believe how easy and quick the snowmen sewed up.  Why did I put off the new machine sooo long.  I so enjoy it!!!!
