2009 Stash Report Week 16

Week 16
This week I wanted to use at least 10 yds to make up for part of my purchase from last week. I made backs for 2 quilts and 4 fabric covered storage boxes. I'm trying to make all my storage in my sewing area coordinate. I had a few pink things and pink doesn't go any where else in my house so I picked pink and tan/brown color scheme for the sewing room. I've loved this brown strip that's been in my stash for a while but it isn't quilt worthy fabric it's to light weight for quilts. Goes great with the creamy eyelet fabric and I used a pink for the linings and rolled it over the tops and hot glued it for the top binding. All the fabrics I used are not suitable for quilts. No progress on the majestic mountains quilt really want to get that one finished but don't seem to want to work on it.

This week

No fabric added this week
Used 12 yds 10"

Year to Date
Added 43 yds 18"
Used 77yds 28"

Fabric Busted from Stash This Year: 33 yards 28"

My goal to bust 150 yds this year.

If you have a lot of UFOs (flimsies), using up your stash on quilt backs will certainly go quickly. Come December first, I predict a lot of finishing. :) Just teasing. The 33 yards is a net loss, right? And your goal is 150 yds net loss? I lost track about a month ago...just before I splurged on birthday money.
