I am officially joining Judy's stash Busting in 2009. I will make purchases only when, the sale price is to good to pass up, or to use to finish a project. I will shop my stash or make do with what I have before buying more fabric. I will make pieced backings for my quilts to use up more stash. I will get rid of fabrics I've had for along time and don't want to see any longer. I will keep my stash organized and get it to fit in one location so it is easier use. My goal for 2009 is to bust 150 yards or to have a net loss of 150 yards. I've worked out a system and some rules for keeping track of fabric used so I'm ready for 2009. For the rest of this month I am going to do some planing and try to finish up a few projects.

Woah! That's some real OCD, keeping track of the yardage and all...good luck with that! Actually, it sounded like a great idea, including the net loss tracking, but I don't think I'm organized enough to do that. I'm trying to shop my stash a bunch now, too. Maybe it's time for me to make some goals for 2009!
