Jacob's Ladder

Here is my 4th finish for the year. The pattern is Jacob's ladder and my first machine quilted quilt. Not a perfect job on the quilting but not to bad. My goal is to finish 4 quilts this month and
I only have one done and it's the 19th already. The next quilt is quilted and ready for binding. But I will have to push the machine quilting a little next week if I want to reach my goal.

It has finally warmed up here in South Dakota. Here is my first jug of sun tea brewing in the sun for the year.

What a beautiful quilt. I've never made a Jacob's Ladder quilt, now I'm inspired to try!

Great job on the quilt . . . still plenty of time to reach your goal.
Isn't sun tea yummy? I set out a jug last weekend - good thing as there has been no sun on this on *s*

Beautiful Jacob's ladder! I love the colours. Your sun tea looks yummy too..my grandmother used to have a jug like that..boy that brings back memories. I'd never heard of sun tea before I read about it on your blog...but upon further research (thanks to google) I can see I'm not likely to have any success of making it here in rainy England! :o)

I love the quilt! How do you make your Sun Tea? If we ever got some sun, I would love to try it.

That is a beautiful quilt! Now you've gone and done it: I need to make some sun tea too! I have a SSW wall on the front deck that just bakes and is the perfect spot for brewing tea.

it's been almost a year since you made that iced tea, I don't think it's going to warm up enough where you are to make another batch. For some reason I have you saved with the note "Sioux Falls". LOL--I am only 85 miles west of you at Parkston. And yes, I was in the MIDDLE of that last nasty storm. 15.7 inches was the official record on the snow!
