Scraps

I've been cutting and cutting. I think one more day and I will have my scraps from the scrap bin all cut. I took this picture Sunday. By the time I'm done these tubs will be more then full. And yes Lucy cat has been a pest. I think she is saying pay some attention to me.

This Quilt is in the July/ August Issue of Fons and Porter's Love Of Quilting. It's also on the web site. http://www.fonsandporter.com/index.asp
I just love it I've been craving red quilts lately. It would be a easy block. But it's the lay out and colors that I love.

Isn't that F&P a nice quilt? I've been considering it too, you are right, the layout and colors really make it. You have made wonderful progress on your scraps.

I fell in love with that quilt on the cover of Fons & Porter too. I want to make it with the red and Civil War prints, and maybe a miniature version.

I love that quilt too. If you make it, you have to share!

Lizzy, you're not the fist person I have read that fell in love with that cover quilt on F&P this month. It is a Beautiful Quilt and you are so right that it is the colors and layout that make it! ;)

I forget who it was, but one of the blogs I visit has alredy picked up red FQ's to begin her quilt. Strawberry Patch perhaps?

I hope you will share photos if you begin this top also. Your photo you included looks even better than the one on the cover of the magazine! ~Bonnie
