Tame the Monster

It's time to tame the monster. I can't keep stepping in the scrap box to make the fabric fit. It is just exploding out of the tub.

I went to Bonnie's Quiltville and read over her scrap saver plan. And got started. Not sure what to do with the triangles.

This is going to take awhile. But it will be so nice when I use scraps. Not sure how I will store them. Don't think these tubs will be big enough.

Oh! My scrap basket is too full, too. I need to do the same thing, that would be very useful.

You made good progress on taming that "scrap monster". I need to do the same.

Good for you, you have made a start, and you can always get larger tubs later. I have some of those larger Glad food tubs for this purpose-also not sure they will be big enough, but I haven't started cutting yet, so I will probably have to upgrade, too!

Oh - it looks like your original tub exploded!!! Congrats on starting to get things organised - Bonnie's system is a great way to start. I say keep all the triangles together - they can be the start of mile a minute blocks or corners on string blocks, etc. Keep up the good work :)

It's amazing how quickly those scraps can multiply. Just think of all the fun you'll have making quilts now *s*
