Dresden Plate

I have the last block appliqued. And the top sewed up. This was a year long project. But yea yea it's done.

16 - 17" blocks that's 68 x 68. I was going to add a border but decided it looked fine with out. I liked this pattern because the spokes had such long pointy ends. But they were harder to finish. I've always loved this classic pattern.

Can't wait to start quilting it. For now I'll put it on hold till I finish some other tops.

this top came out just lovely! what a lot of work you put in and it came out so nice...well worth all that effort and time I think.

What a beautiful quilt to be proud of!!! I have admired the Dresden plate for years and years... however I doubt it will ever be a project I work on, as I don't think my skill level is high enough for one of these. Great job - I love your fabrics! ~Bonnie
