I'd like to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!!! I had my family over (brothers, sisters, nieces, parents, and our own kids). Total count is 16. We had a wonderful time. It's good to get together with the whole family every once and a while.
At last after sewing on and off this weekend I have this top done. The blocks are 6" square. And there are 144 of them. The quilt is 72" square. Mark off another UFO on the list. Now to pick another UFO to focus on.

I love this quilt! It looks so "antique", even though it is new! I can see it with some sort of traditional quilting, like Baptist Fans or Clamshells. Do you have any ideas on how you're going to quilt it? Great job!
its a very pretty quilt. I love the small black squares....
Lizzie - what a great looking top! As Carolyn says - it looks very "old". I know that's why I love it! Did you tire or it before or did you just have too many things going on. If all your UFO's are as neat as this one it should be a lot of fun to finish them.
I love this quilt, just gives me the warm fuzzy old quilty feel.
Such a nice quilt. It looks like a lot of work, but the results are well worth the effort. In my opinion it is exactly what quilts should look like!
I love your quilt. Nic and scrappy.
Your quilt is gorgeous. I love the fabrics you have chosen and the overall effect.
Lovely quilt. How are you going to quilt it?
Wow, Lizzy--looks terrific and very old fashioned.
This pattern is one of my favorites. I've made it in scrappy reds and beiges and my Mom has done it in greens. I LOVE it with the fabrics you've chosen too.
This is one of my fave patterns - it's gorgeous!
Just discovered your blog - great looking quilts.
My sewing group and I just finished exchanging blocks to make this quilt. I can't wait to put the blocks together. Yours is great!
I've always liked this pattern. There's something about the diagonal lines made by the little 4 patches that appeals to me.
Great looking quilt top. I love the antique scrappy feel to it.
Wow, that is a truly gorgeous quilt! Good job on sticking to it and getting that top done!
(Hugs)
Oh, I really like this way of using 4 patches. Love the way it creates trails through the larger colour blocks :)
I really love this quilt, your fabric chices are wonderful.
It is a lovely, lovely UFO to move over to the Finished list. Great!
Cheers!
Evelyn
Love this quilt. Congrats on finishing a UFO :)
This quilt top is absolutely gorgeous. I love it. Great job!
Lizzie, I've always wanted to make one of these quilts. Yours turned out so pretty with all the scraps. I just might have to put it on my to-do list for this year.
