Coasters

The long week end sure went fast. But I got a lot of things done around the house. And the time off from work was nice.
On the quilty side I've had these scraps laying around for a while a project that didn't work out. So I decided to make drink coasters out of them. A quick little project. Almost got them done.

I love your little coasters! Much smaller and more interesting pieces than the ones I made last night! But I think I will make more in the future. Are you binding yours? I sewed up three sizes, turned inside out, and sewed up the last side by hand. Thanks for sharing them.

These are really cute!

Your quilt following Judy's one-hour is really pretty. Can't wait to see it finished.

Very cute! I've seen some neat coasters lately and I'll have to add them to my "future projects" list.

Those are sweet - much nicer looking than the papertowel I usually fold into 4th!!!

Cheers!

I have a set of those "mug mats". I like them because they don't stick to the bottom of the glass. /paula

Cute coasters. Tiny pieces are tough to work with. I really like yours.

It's amazing how quickly the long weekends go by, huh?

The coasters are so cute. I would never think of that!

Really sweet looking little coasters..they look rather springie and happy.
I've made some over the years using up reject quilt blocks, especially the smaller sizes. They do up pretty nice just slightly bigger, as potholders.
