It's been a month since I last reported. No new fabric in. And I did a little sewing but mostly I donated some fabric that I was gifted with a few years ago. Maybe a lesson there if someone gives you their ugly fabric because they will never use it you probably won't find a use for it either. So I removed and used 21 yds from my stash. So for my yearly total I'm at.....

Basket Weave String
Stash report day. I've missed the last few weeks but am ready to get back in.

And look how lucky I am this little quilt I made last year fits almost perfectly on my new table. Feels good to be almost settled in the new house not too many boxes left to unpack.

I love the Basket Weave String quilt. The scraps look so good. I am wondering about the colours. Are the bright of pastel? And did you select every fabric to match the rest or did you just randomly pick fabric from your stash? I want to make a scrapquilt myself, but I am worried that it will be to much of a circus of colours.
The quilt on the table is absolutely perfect. And string quilts, nothing is more fun to make than a string quilt, and it's scrappy too, the basket weave effect is great!
What a great way to use scraps and it looks so nice. The table quilt is a beauty! Good for you!
I love your strings! I posted my strings today also. I love sewing without pressure that strings allow.
I am in love with the quilt on the table!
