Here is one I started. Not sure of what I'm going to do for sure yet. I have these snowball blocks.
I want to alternate them with one of the blocks on this quilt. Not sure if I want to make a lot of work out of it and do small 9 patch blocks or take easy way and do the larger blocks. I do want to do the small border with the squares. Don't care for the applique. I thought an out side border of the large 9 patch blocks. It's a work in progress and we'll see how it turns out. And what I decide.
Last I did some digging in my scrap triangles and just sewed up odd one pieces into broken dish squares. Then trimmed and squared them up to 2 1/2 inches and made a doll quilt. When I first started I thought this is easy it's going fast I should make a whole quilt this way. Then I sewed the squares and realised how small it was 12" x 10" and thought this is enough a quilt would take forever.

I love that book and want to make every quilt in it! I know I won't but, you know what I mean. I love the blocks for Remembering Grandma
I taught a mystery quilt using that block and it was beautiful (if I do say so myself). You have good color choices. :)
Great work, Lizzy! I really like your choice of fabrics -- good contrast and lovely colours. The doll quilt is very sweet, too. Very resourceful way to use up scraps! See you at Judy's blog next week! Take care -- Dianne B. in England
I love that book too! Lots of wonderful patterns. Your stash report is great. :)
