Monday

Here is my UFO for Feb I have the sashing all cut and layed out. But, The Realtors keep calling to show the house then I have to pick it all up. So progress has been slow. My hope was to finish it and get it quilted yet this month. I'm guessing this will have to carry over into March. I am determined to get it done so I have to keep picking away at it. This is my least favorite part of quilting sewing the blocks together.

I'll sew your blocks together if you quilt my quilts. I *hate* that part!
I think the blocks and putting the quilt together are the fun parts. :)

I like that the stars have different center blocks. Lots of variety.

I have found that I love the piecing and putting the puzzle together but the quilting is not my favorite part. Funny how we all like different parts of the process.

Beautiful blocks!! Here is a hint...buy one of those cheap vinyl table cloths with the fuzzy flannel like backing.....lay it out on the floor or like me hang it on the wall. The blocks will stick to the backing ....then all you have to do is roll it up when you need to pick up and everything stays in place!!!

I love the table cloth idea! I'm so gonna try that. I can't wait to explore the rest of this blog, I just found you today and I love quilting. I like the hand-quilt rack the best, but I just got a burst of bravery and have been stippling some small projects. What fun!

That is going to be such a pretty quilt. I use that tablecloth idea sometimes too and it works great. Kind of wrinkles up the little pieces, but beats picking them all up and down again.
