Colorado Block Doll Quilt

Here is a little doll quilt I've been working on. I have a little quilting left to do. The block was called Colorado block but I'm sure there are other names for it. I used 1 1/2" squares stitched together then folded over for the HST. The blocks are 4'' blocks or 4 1/2'' with seams. I used 4 in the center then a border of 1 1/2'' squares. I've loved the brown and pink color combo (chocolate and cherries) since the first time I saw it.

What a cute little quilt. This is one of my favorite blocks. I made a Christmas quilt last year with the block and now seeing your doll quilt I might have to design a fall or Halloween quilt using this block.
