Attic Treasures

Here's the attic treasures blocks I've been working on. It's a good stash busting pattern. I'm not sure what lay out I'm going to use. I might have to play with them and come up with a combination of these 2 layouts. I have about a third of the blocks done. Now it's back to the stash to cut up some more pieces for more blocks.

The basket blocks are comming along I have 8 more handles to aplique. I think I'm going to make this into a baby quilt instead of a full size quilt. Don't know who I'll give it to but someday I'll need it for a gift.

OHhhh, I like the attic blocks... a closeup of one of the blocks, please?

I also just saw the quilts you donated for WTIL and they're wonderful. Kudos, Lizzy!

Lizzy, I am a first time visitor to your blog but had to comment. Your Attic Treasures is Beautiful! I love the colors - are these fabrics what you would call civil w*ar fabrics???

I think I like the first photo layout better myself. I have seen quilts done using the 2nd layout and never do they have that smallest ring centered in the quilt...I wonder why? it looks funny to me if it is off to the side. But that's just me.

I will bookmark you for sure so I can watch the progress on this quilt! Glad I found you! ~Bonnie

Those attic treasure blocks look like they have a lot of small blocks in them. I give you credit for piecing some intricate quilts! I like the look of the first lay out--the "cross hatch" one. It is really easy to see the secondary design coming out on that one. Keep up that piecing!

I like your attic blocks, they are beautiful. I think I like the first layout design, but then the second also speaks to me... either one looks great.

Your little basket blocks are just darling! What a nice little gift to have tucked away for the future... And - your current scrap buster project sure does have lots of interesting lay-out possibilities - I love blocks like that!

Cheers!
