Then set in blocks so that a secondary pattern is formed when the blocks are set together. The light is the center of the block.
I started this quilt 6 years ago. And its been down to the last 2 seams for about 2 months. Why are the last seams so hard to just do.
Okay for anyone who is interested 72 pieces in a block. 36 blocks = 2592 triangles in this quilt.

That's a really neat looking quilt. Wow, lots of triangles. I agree about the last few seams always "seem" to be the hardest to do. I find the larger my quilt gets the more my interest declines.

Wow, Lizzy--almost 2600 triangles! No wonder it kept getting pushed back for other projects. It is lovely though.
Phew - that's a lot of triangles. Great use of value and I bet it feels REAL good to get the top finished :)

Very nice top. And a wonderful way to use up scraps. I didn't realize that others had the same "problem" as I did......the last few seams being the hardest to do. I thought that was just one of MY oddities!
